Turn the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a large fry pan over medium-high heat, melt 1 1\/2 tablespoon of the butter with 1 1\/2 tablespoons of the olive oil. Working in batches, add the chicken breasts and cook, turning once, until golden on both sides, about 5 minutes total. Transfer to a plate.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the shallots to the pan and saut\u00e9 over medium-high heat until lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the Marsala, increase the heat to high and cook, stirring, until reduced and thickened, 7 to 10 minutes. Add the broth and oregano and return to a boil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Transfer the chicken to a large heavy pot and add the Marsala mixture. Cover the pot, set over low heat and cook until the chicken is opaque throughout and very tender, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large fry pan over high heat, melt the remaining 1 1\/2 tablespoons butter with the remaining 1 1\/2 tablespoons olive oil. Add the mushrooms and saut\u00e9 until the edges begin to brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, bring to a boil, and season generously with salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the mushroom mixture to the pot. Cover and continue cooking until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 30 minutes more.
