Roux blanc for béchamel sauce and veloutés
Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 4 tbsp. flour
Instructions
  1. Melt 4 tbsp. butter in a saucepan and mix into it 4 tbsp. flour.
  2. Cook for 5-10 minutes without browning it.
  3. Stir occasionally.
